Koç University Hospital is a research and training hospital that has operated since September 2014. The hospital expanded and increased its capacity in 2016. It now has 404 single inpatient rooms as well as 73 intensive care units (ICU). 366 adult units and 111 pediatric units. The hospital houses 13 operating rooms and 14 intervention rooms, with over 4000 surgeries performed. The hospital has served about 6000 inpatients and 65,000 outpatients. A total of 1600 are international medical tourists.
