The European Medical Center (EMC) was established in 1989 and is one of the leading multidisciplinary clinics in Moscow, serving more than 250 000 patients a year. The EMC has 56 specialized areas of expertise including general surgery, oncology, bariatric surgery, orthopedics, ENT, dentistry, reproductive medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, gynecology, and urology.

EMC provides all types of outpatient, inpatient and emergency care according to the highest international standards.

The medical center has expanded since its establishment, with 4 multispecialty hospitals in Moscow, in addition to 18 specialized clinics. EMC's clinic for sports traumatology and orthopedics is the largest private orthopedics clinic in Russia. The medical center was the first medical institute in Moscow to open a specialized oncology and hematology clinic, which uses American and European protocols for treatment.
