Center of medical rehabilitation in Beroun hospital offers three interconnecting pavilions with 150 beds of early medical rehabilitation secured under the acute care department of internal medicine, including intensive care. Furthermore, a number of specialized centers for both, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation treatment, care of a clinical psychologist, a clinical speech therapist and a quality prosthetic department. Furthermore, the rehabilitation is carried out in patients with traumatological diagnoses and in patients after neurosurgery and spine surgery such a spondylosis – any manner of spinal degeneration. Comprehensive medical rehabilitation is also used in patients with spine and joint pain of different origin and in patients with neurological disorders, for example after a stroke, multiple sclerosis, but also with other neurological diagnoses.
