1. Introduction
MyMediTravel is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in our workplace. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and visitors.
2. Scope
This policy covers non-discrimination on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation.
3. Commitment
We expect all staff to treat others equitably, with dignity and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying will not be tolerated.
4. Responsibilities
All staff are responsible for promoting EDI. Specific responsibilities for implementing and monitoring this policy lie with designated roles within the company.
5. Implementation, Monitoring, and Review
The implementation of this Policy will be overseen by the Equality and Diversity Committee. They will regularly update the Executive Management Team on progress and achievements. The People & Culture Department is tasked with gathering and analyzing staff-related data and providing annual reports to the Executive Team. Similarly, the Quality and Standards Department will handle data collection and analysis for candidate-related matters. The Marketing Team is responsible for ensuring that all content from MyMediTravel aligns with this policy's guidelines. To maintain relevance and compliance, this Policy will undergo periodic reviews, aligning with evolving best practices and legal standards.
6. Training
All staff are required to undergo EDI training, with new staff receiving this as part of their induction.
7. Complaints Procedure
Any incidents of discrimination, harassment, or bullying can be reported without fear of retaliation.
